for the elections

i do not know that one candidate will bring greater good to this country and the world than the other. i do pray with earnest heart though that whoever is elected tomorrow will bring about a wholly positive change in the current state of politics. also given that the u.s. has so critical a role to play in world affairs today, i pray that every u.s. citizen realizes the importance of his/her vote, and gives this precious vote to the candidate he/she believes, in earnest, is deserving of it. may the decision to vote be a just and pure one. may the choice of candidate be motivated solely by an honest desire for peace. may tomorrow be the beginning of better times ahead, for this country and for humankind. and may we move towards greater good, greater prosperity, and a better world.

and may god be with us all.

I particularly appreciate your words: "i do pray with earnest heart though that whoever is elected tomorrow will bring about a wholly positive change in the current state of politics." It's so easy to get caught up in partisan politics, or at least in our personal preferences (even when reason tell us that one option is far more likely to bring about desired peace, positive change); in doing this, we may/often loose sight of the larger picture of what's needed regardless of who is elected. So I, too, will keep this prayer in my heart. Thanks!
