zen for april

last month (for it is now midnight and april), i'd mentioned earlier, my zen calendar advised me to just sit and see what happens. i followed it as far as my strength would allow, and am that much happier for it now. in the quarter of the year that has passed already (unbelievably so!), this calendar has served me well. and perhaps that has a little to do with my every effort to serve the calendar well too.

this month, my calendar says the following:

So whatever you do, just do it, without expecting anyone's help. Don't spoil your effort by seeking for shelter. Protect yourself and grow upright to the sky; that is all.
