"i'll meet you there"
rumi's words to ponder over:
Out beyond the right and wrong,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase "each other" doesn't make any sense.
i love the visual imagery these words generate. i wonder if you see the same beautiful, lush green, sunbathed meadows that i see. where there is no right and wrong, no good nor bad. where our souls lie down to be with each other in earnest, where there is naught but peace. and boundless love. and complete understanding.

simple and stunning eh...only rumi asrumi does :)...amazing ain't it how he says the 'soul' lies down and on that plane even 'each other' no longer makes sense...thanks for sharing n!
like ramana maharshi's "there are no others" :).
you're always welcome, a!
I love this poem!!! Thanks so much for sharing! Really so beautifully paints a picture of how our souls are all the same, there is oneness amongst them all.
yes. how beautiful to behold, how easy to believe, and yet how difficult to realize....
