oh, for socks!

not every post needs to be contemplative. for now, my source of inspiration are my socks. all socks, not any one in particular, though i do feel a particular affinity towards the ones i'm wearing right now. i was sitting in my cold room (cold, 'cos it is cloudy outside) and my feet suddenly felt bare. i took action immediately, and they are now most comfortably ensconced in a lovely pair of white socks with monkeys and bananas on them. (my sister gave these to me on my 21st birthday, incidentally.)

isn't it lovely how they so satisfactorily fulfill such a simple need of ours? i am oh, so grateful for the invention of this concept.

(ps: unbelievable that i even have a "socks" label already!)
