june, july, august, september
unfortunately, the rest of the months will have to follow a different model, given all the travel i'll be doing around the world ;). i share with you the zen thoughts for the next four months. if you follow the honor code (i only intend to process each thought in its rightful month, for instance), nothing needs to change.
for june:
for june:
Our practice is to help people, and to help people we find out how to practice our way on each moment.for july:
To know what you are doing at any particular time is the most important thing. This is to make effort according to the situation you are in.for august:
Calmness of mind is beyond the end of your exhalation. If you exhale smoothly, without even trying to exhale, you are entering into complete calmness of your mind.for september:
When you become just yourself, you have real enlightenment. If you try to hold onto what you attained previously, that is not enlightenment.there. i now know i couldn't possibly handle two months in one. thank god they come one at a time as they do :).

Where does this come from? Is this your own writing, or guided by something externally? I'm confused by the writing here (e.g., "the zen thoughts" -- whose? what does that mean? what's the purpose of these)
that said, these seem like very laudable things to focus on each month.
:)
My dear, these thoughts are 'thoughts of the month' from my Zen calendar that AA passed unto me through you.
I'm glad you think they're laudable things to focus on :). They serve like a TOTM of sorts, to meditate on, you know?
