word of the day
'prismatic'
which reminds me. there was a time when i had a 'wotd' folder. i wonder where it went. or what email id it was associated with. isn't it interesting how email goes through phases too, representative of the phases in our life? people walk in and out, and frequency of emails from them changes in accordance. or, in the shorter term, one can identify the highs and lows of the relationship - either due to factors internal to the relationship, or external factors such as travel, deadlines, etc.
gmail(/google) should develop a whole set of graphing tools that we can use to analyze email trends in our lives. perhaps it c/would help us understand ourselves better in some way :).

amaranth :)
i didn't consciously think of it before, email DOES go through phases..i have distinct memories associated with each email account (and how they progressed...from email.com, to hotmail, to yahoo, to gmail, to webmail)
i'm starting wotd again! i miss it! it used to go to my yahoo account which died a long while ago.
what kind of a word is amaranth, amrith? do u just sit around looking for words that look like 'amrith'?
funny you should mention it. amaranth actually came up in conversation with 8&20 today when we were discussing words that sound like amrith, because some lady thought my name reminded her of amethyst :). anyway, amaranth actually has a very nice meaning... it's an imaginary flower that never fades.
ah, like amaranthus. i thought u were misspelling either amaranthus or amarnath :)
hmm...perhaps this is the forum for us to communicate, amrith. so what about basketball when i get back?
i know i won't be much of a challenge for u, but still we can play n versus 1 where n can be as large as u want it to be.
n will have to be zero only :(. foot is in pretty bad shape. but let's "take this offline" as they say :).
adu+amrith: shoo please.
trb: transitions through email systems are kinda scary, i find. as soon as the email account falls off the radar, i feel it takes away some of my past with it :O
haha! i saw NINE comments and thought WOW 8&20 has really generated a lot of comments on this post!
8&20:well the past is always there isn't it..sometimes unfortunately, but always unchanging and present!:p
but you're right, email is like a journal, an account of what's happening. i find my emails to close friends often describes life-as-it-is in detail and to lose that archive is rather awful.
do you have a journal?
adu, how vella are you?
