dear blog,
i am so very sorry to have neglected you all these days. i absolutely did not mean to but life suddenly got caught up in so many things, i kept meaning to get to you but couldn't. i hope you're doing well and still see your regular visitors, even though i haven't been filling you in on recent happenings of my life. i'll try to be better from today onwards.
speaking of today - it was beautifully spent. i woke up comfortably late, treated myself to a rejuvenating cup of tea and a hearty breakfast, and was then picked up by sis and co. to go sight-seeing to the city. after all these years, the golden gate bridge is still as beautiful. i took the usual photos and realized that i really do need to get my sensor cleaned. we also went to the muir woods where it was very cold because the trees were so ginormous they kept all the sunlight out. (smugmug will soon be richer by some.)
we had lunch/dinner at annapoorna in san mateo, and it wasn't bad at all. i do, however, wish to go to "dosa" in the city really soon. dinner was followed by an unproductive but very entertaining evening/night at coupa cafe in downtown palo alto. i realized that the ideal color for a wall to have is the yellow they have at coupa.
i must now retire, listening to david gray's heavenly guitar. i hope i'll see you again tomorrow!
tata then.
